Kathleen Jensen Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Bradley Funeral Home - Marlton on Jul. 29, 2026.

Kathleen A. Jensen, age 97, of Marlton, passed away peacefully on July 25, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of love, faith, and devoted service to her family and church. Born on December 30, 1928 in Philadelphia PA, she was a loving, faith-filled, and selfless woman whose greatest joy came from caring for her family and encouraging others through her words, her example, and her steadfast faith. As a homemaker, she poured her heart into her home and was deeply involved in her sons' activities. She volunteered at their school in support of several extra-curricular activities, and gave her time generously to events that enriched the lives of children and families around her. Kathleen's faith was central to her life. Her beliefs guided her daily actions and shaped the way she treated others. As a prayer warrior, she focused on the Christian faith of her family and friends. She was a longtime member of Fellowship Baptist Church and later attended Wiley Church after moving there. She was also deeply patriotic and held a special admiration for the military. As a proud Navy wife, Kathleen supported her husband and embraced the life and sacrifices that came with that role. Music held a special place in her heart, and she shared that love by serving as a choir director at several Navy Chapels. She also organized chapel Bible studies and hosted other Bible studies in her home. Kathleen was preceded in death by her beloved husband, the late Andrew F. Jensen, Jr., and by her sisters, the late Margaret Lamania, the late Jeannette Serabian and the late Elizabeth Mostovlyan. She was the loving mother of Andrew F. Jensen III and his wife, Carolyn, and David W. Jensen, Sr. and his wife, Andrea. Dearly loved grandmother of Rachel McAllister-Faulk and her husband, Josche, Carolyn Grimley and her husband, Everett, Emily Carswell and her husband, Paul, David Jensen, Jr. and his wife, Makayla, Deborah Song and her husband, Patrick, Matthew Jensen, and Deborah Ishaya; and great-grandmother of Eric, Zoe, Evelyn, Dean, David III, and Charles. Next to her Savior, Kathleen cherished her family above all else. She loved her grandchildren dearly and found great happiness in spending time with them, especially making crafts or baking cookies together. Her home was a place of warmth, encouragement, and welcome, and she will be remembered for the gentle way she nurtured those around her. She leaves behind a family who will continue to honor her memory by living with the same grace, devotion, and compassion that she showed throughout her life. Her presence will be deeply missed, but her legacy of love and faith will remain a lasting blessing to all who were fortunate enough to know her. Relatives and friends are invited to the visitation on Saturday August 8 from 10:30-11am at the Wiley Church 99 East Main St., Marlton where a Memorial Service will be held at 11am. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Kathleen's memory to the Neighborhood Crusades 4934 Greene St, Philadelphia, PA 19144 https://neighborhoodcrusades.org/
